Censorship of Kids Comics
Censorship is affecting more comics than ever, especially comics made for young people. Recent months have seen attacks on award-winning books like This One Summer and Drama, as well as increased targeting of books by and about diversity. CBLDF editorial director Betsy Gomez leads a discussion with Gina Gagliano (First Second), and Carla Riemer (librarian, Claremont Middle School, Oakland, California) about what books are challenged, who's affected, and what you can do stop the spread of censorship.

Stalking LeVar: Screening + Q&A
Stalking LeVar is a scripted comedic web series about a girl looking for a very important person. Created in 2013, this Dweeb Darlings series was revamped this year as they launched their second season, which includes a wide range of guest stars, co-stars, and talented crew people. Their mission is to empower women (of all ages) by showing them that being a dweeb, geek, and/or nerd is not only being intelligent and passionate but also being powerful, creative, sexy, funny, and real!
