Comic Creator Connection All-Stars
The Comic Creator Connection (CCC) is Comic-Con's premier networking event that brings together writers and artists who are searching for their creative counterparts. This "All-Star" panel spotlights some of the latest teams coming out of the CCC and their newest creations. Hosts Douglas Neff and Corey Rothermel (authors of Epic Win! The Geek's Guide to the Journey from Fan to Creator) will focus the discussion on how each team built a successful creative partnership, from their first handshake to their first draft to their first sale. The Costume Designers Guild Local 892 members discuss designing costumes for films, from The Solutrean to Star Trek: Beyond. Panelists include Ruth E. Carter (Chi-Raq), Sharen Davis (The Solutrean), Sanja Hays (Star Trek: Beyond), and Shawna Trpcic (The Cabin in the Woods). They are happy to answer audience questions about the process of filming today and how they work with the directors to create the looks. Christopher Lawrence (The Space Between Us) moderates this panel.

Hollywood Location Scouts
What if your job was to find Gotham, search for Jurassic World, or hunt for Jakku? Working alongside directors and production designers, location scouts are the visual artists who bring forth every place that you see on the screen. Six location scouts will discuss the creative and logistical aspects of their jobs, relate some exciting anecdotes, and answer audience questions. Moderator Scott Trimble (Transformers: The Last Knight, War for the Planet of the Apes) joins Location Managers Guild International panelists William Doyle (Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Green Lantern), Douglas Dresser (The Revenant, Kill Bill: Vols. 1 & 2), Leann Emmert (Kong: Skull Island, Transformers: Age of Extinction), John Rakich (American Gods, The Thing), and Alison A. Revengeance with Bill Plympton & Jim Lujan

Voice actors Geo Brawn, Lalo Alcaraz, Sara Ulloa, Keith Knight and Ken Mora join two-time Oscar-nominated director Bill Plympton and writer Jim Lujan to preview their new animated feature, Revengeance, with finished clips from the film and a discussion of the production process, from raising funds via Kickstarter to the plans for distribution. Revengeance is set in the seedy underworld of L.A., with biker gangs, bounty hunters, and strange cults. Bill will also screen some recent shorts and a clip from his controversial new mockumentary, Hitler's Folly, plus a few surprises. Bill and Jim will take questions from the audience about their films, plus all attendees will receive a free Bill Plympton sketch.

Man of Action Universe Building
Man of Action legends Joe Casey (Sex, Officer Downe), Joe Kelly (I Kill Giants, Deadpool), Duncan Rouleau (The Great Unknown, The Nightmarist), and Steven T. Seagle (It's a bird . . ., Camp Midnight) bring their world-renowned workshop on universe building to Comic-Con. They will talk through some of their creative processes for their monster hits, including Ben 10 and Big Hero 6 for Marvel, which became Disney's Academy Award-winning film, and teach the ins and outs of creating compelling intellectual property from the ground up, with hands-on exercises. Attendees will need to bring something to write on, something to write with, and big batch of brain power, as the Man of Action crew and the audience will, over the course of the panel, build a new story universe!
