Ayanna Dozier is a second year graduate student in the Media, Culture, and Communications program at New York University. Her current research interests include; exploring perceptions between “high” and “low” culture in the arts, performative gender identity, pornography, comics, and the notion of glamour, trash, and kitsch as pejorative aesthetics. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
