The legendary Forry Ackerman, editor of the iconic Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, is celebrated in his 100th birthday year by FM Publisher Philip Kim, Forry caretaker Joe Moe, and high-profile guests including FIGHT CLUB screenwriter Jim Uhls, FREAKS AND GEEKS star Steve Bannos, Journey rocker Robert Fleischman, Bif Bang Pow! co-founder Jason Lenzi, Warner Archives' Matthew Patterson, FM cover artist/THE SIMPSONS animation legend Paul Wee, DC comics co-publisher Dan Didio, and MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 mater Joel Hodgson, all with nostalgic tales and humorous anecdotes. Contributors and close friends will be present to discuss their experience growing up as a Monster Kid. There will also be a sneak peek at the comics anthology tribute Tales from the Ackermansion. Moderated by FM executive editor David Weiner.
