CW3PR's 8th Annual Behind-The-Music: Crime, Death and Resurrection

Join television and film’s top composers as they discuss how their music elevates the high drama, mystery and mayhem in some of your favorite cinematic stories. These musicians of the screen will reveal the in-depth scoring processes that enliven some of TV and film's most popular and thrilling programs. The panel will highlight the music of fan-favorite shows and movies including Mr. Robot, Fargo, American Horror Story, Legion, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dominion, The Night Of, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Scream Queens, Salem, Power, The People v. O.J. Simpson CSI: NY, and more. Celebrity moderators: Violett Beane (The Flash, The Leftovers) & Drew Roy (Falling Skies). Panelists include Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Night Of, Power, Legion), Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, The People v. O.J. The 4th Annual Musical Anatomy of a Superhero
From the ominous horns of Jaws signaling fear to the inspiring theme for Star Wars, music has always been an important supporting character in movies. This panel offers a behind-the-scenes look at the music of today's biggest superhero film and TV projects with unreleased film clips and never before heard music. Participating composers include Henry Jackman (Captain America: Civil War, Kick Ass 2), Tom "Junkie XL" Holkenborg (Deadpool, Batman v Superman), John Ottman (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past), and Blake Neely (Supergirl, The Flash). Moderated by George S. Clinton (Mortal Kombat, Austin Powers).

Renowned Emmy Award-winning composers and songwriters Michael McCuistion (Justice League Unlimited), Lolita Ritmanis (Spectacular Spider-Man), and Kristopher Carter (Batman Beyond) and producer and lyricist James Tucker (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) show how they write the music and songs to some of DC and Marvel's finest properties, including the making ofBatman the Brave and the Bold: The Music Meister, starring Neil Patrick Harris, and working alongside Mark Hamill onBatman: The Killing Joke. Revengeance with Bill Plympton & Jim Lujan

Voice actors Geo Brawn, Lalo Alcaraz, Sara Ulloa, Keith Knight and Ken Mora join two-time Oscar-nominated director Bill Plympton and writer Jim Lujan to preview their new animated feature, Revengeance, with finished clips from the film and a discussion of the production process, from raising funds via Kickstarter to the plans for distribution. Revengeance is set in the seedy underworld of L.A., with biker gangs, bounty hunters, and strange cults. Bill will also screen some recent shorts and a clip from his controversial new mockumentary, Hitler's Folly, plus a few surprises. Bill and Jim will take questions from the audience about their films, plus all attendees will receive a free Bill Plympton sketch.
