Sarena Ulibarri attended the Clarion Fantasy and Science Fiction Writers' Workshop at UCSD, the Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction Novel Workshop at KU, and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her fiction has appeared in Lightspeed, Fantastic Stories of the Imagination, Lakeside Circus, The Colored Lens, and elsewhere. Since 2010, she has been a regular judge for NYC Midnight writing challenges, providing feedback on short stories, flash fiction and short screenplays.
